DJ?

We are in the process of finding vendors and I was wondering what to expect to pay for a DJ and if anyone knows of a good one (reasonable price) in the Durham area??

A DJ can run you anywhere from $400 - 1500 - depending on who you use.
Check out www.acrosstheponddjentertainment.com - very reasonable.

Joe Bunn DJ Company in Raleigh are wonderful and I know they're willing to travel. To have Joe personally at your wedding will cost a little bit more, but he also has DJs on staff that are less expensive and still do a wonderful job.

Hi!  I'm using Brian Darocha of Unlimited DJ Services.  He is very nice and he came highly recommended by my photographer.  His total package is $750 which includes music for ceremony and reception.  He doesn't work on an hourly basis, he's there the whole time you need him.   His website is: http://www.unlimiteddj.com

We are using Brian Darocha also.... but we got him from Complete Music. We booked at the Bridal Show a few weeks ago, and got him for $595 - two hunderd bucks off the orginal cost. There is a bridal show coming in September in Brier Creek....may want to look into. Lots of specials at those things!

Yes!  Brian Darocha works with the Complete Music company and also has is personal business (Unlimited DJ Services).  I went with his "unlimited hour" package for ceremony music & reception music.  I get two DJ set ups with my package.  You should definitely check both to see which works for you.  Good Luck! :)

His name is David Price and he is a fantastic DJ find him on facebook, David Charles Price, he can also be found at all the Champions Bars in the triangle differnt nights of the week, he is also a Karaoke DJ, he charges $100 per hour. He is a really fun guy and has decades of experience.
  • Rates are all over the place for DJs and pretty much every other vendor for that matter!  We found rates from 695 to 3200 (yikes).  Our choice was All Around Raleigh DJ.  Seemed like the best combination of price vs reviews.  Good luck.
