RD invite wording

I'm going to order the RD invites this weekend (thank you Rue La La for the Wedding Paper Divas coupon!!).  My FMIL (who is paying for the whole dinner) wants a more formal tone for the RD, what do you think of this wording for the invite:

Please join us for a Rehearsal Dinner honoring
mgoss228 & FI
Thursday, May 5, 2011
at half after seven o'clock in the evening

RD Location Name
123 Wedding Street
Seattle, WA 98101

Hosted by the FI Family
RSVP by April 14th to mgoss228 at 123-456-7899

I'm thinking the WP should RSVP to me, since FMIL lives on the East Coast and is definitely not the most organized person.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

TIA!

I know there are too many suggestions when it comes to wedding ettiquete, but I recently read this one about invites I that agree with, that the parents or party that is paying for the event should be listed on the invite, and since it's customary for the groom's parents to pay for the rehersal dinner I think this would totally work in your case.  So I would say something like this:

Mr and Mrs Groom's Parents invite you to the RD in honor of Bride and Groom's wedding.

Just a thought.  In my case, my parents, his parents, and the two of us are probably going to throw the reception together (we are not sending invites to our small family-only ceremony) so our invites will probably say something like "together with our families".

    Hope that helps.

carlynkevin, Thanks for the advice.  What I have now will have "hosted by the "FI's Last Name" Family.  Do you think I should do something more like Hosted by Mr. FFIL and Mrs. FMIL "FI Last Name?"
