Bachelorette Party Ideas

Any ideas for a budget (but fun) bachelorette party?
No bars/strippers/pole dancing/things like that.
She doesn't want to stay at home or have a dinner party - although I think that would be fun, and it limits me severely...
Help!!!

I don't know if you have one around you, but in my area there is a place called Dave & Buster's. It is like an adult arcade. Simulators, Skee Ball, all kinds of Arcade type games. That is what we did for a friends and it was a TON of fun, made us feel like teenagers again!

You should go to an interactive type dinner.. fondue or hibachi YUM! You could also have a spa day or go take a poll dancing exercise class.. so much fun!

Your profile says you're here in Central FL.. you could go see a show.. Blue Man Group or Cirque du Soleil La Nouba.. go to the beach for the day.. go to City Walk at Universal.. you could drive down to Miami or the Keys for the weekend.

    Bowling
    Karaoke
    Salsa dancing
    Movie night

Just a couple of ideas.  :-)

July 16, Our Wedding Day, is also International Juggling Day!

    A few thoughts...
    - spa afternoon (although not cheap)
    - country bar - line dancing, etc. (some country bars have line dancing lessons earlier in the night so you can figure out what you're doing first)
    - laser tag or paintball, followed by dinner out
    - mixology course

I didn't really have a "bachelorette" party....but while the guys were off doing their thing, a bunch of my female in-laws and their kids and my baby sister and I went to Amazing Jakes. It was a blast! They also took a few moments to give me some cute gifts. :) We celebrated the engagement of another girl, and also a birthday while we were there.

My MOH and BM didn't get in until really late that night, so they were unable to really do or plan anything. I'm actually glad, because their ideas likely would have involved alcohol and embarrasment. :P

You could go for mani/pedis, out to dinner, and then have a slumber party complete with violent slasher movies.

We got all dressed up and went out to dinner. Then we went back to my BMs house and had a sleepover/played games/opened lingerie/ate lots!

where are you in CF? I am in Brevard county close to Melb.  I might be able to give you better ideas then .   I am doing a mani/pdei day . One of the local places in my mall does  mani/pedis for $30 which is a good deal. So we are doing that then going  to lunch/dinner and maybe rent/ go see a movie.

We went kayaking and out to dinner for my friend's last summer. It was a beautiful day and so much fun!

My friend had similar stipulations. We got all dressed up, rented a limo and went desert hopping all over Minneapolis. We shared deserts at different places. It was fun and still felt like a bacheloretter party, not just a girls hang out day.

katanne-- that is exactly what we plan to do for my upcoming bach. party sometime next month. It's always fun to dress up and go out w/ the girls-- no matter what you end up doing :)
