How much did/will you spend?

Hello,

I know this is a personal question but my FI and I decided not to have our friend Dj for us so we are currently looking for one. We have gotten many quotes and I was curious about how much you all spent or are planning to spend and what that cost includes? 
Also are there any key questions we should ask before getting a quote?

    Paying $495, but we are having a sunday wedding.
    That covered everything. Ceremony music/ Reception music

    I would make sure you ask:
    -How much for the deposit
    -How many hours?
    - Do they cover the ceremony as well
    -Is there a setup fee
    -If they are covering ceremony and reception is there a change of location fee
    -Do they provide microphones
    -References
    -Have they ever worked on your reception location
    -Do you provide the music list to them

    We spent about $725 for four hours on a Saturday night.  He brought a nice lighting system for the dancefloor and the sound quality was great.  We didn't have him at any other locations and he included microphones and setup in his base fee.

    Right now, we're planning on going with a friend. We budgeted $700 for this. This will include all equipment, mics, ceremony music and a 4 piece band for the reception. We haven't signed a contract with him yet but more than likely we'll go with him.

    $795 for 4 hours at the reception and an hour at the ceremony and two set ups including mics on a saturday night.

    $700 for ceremony and reception. Mics, lights, and everything else. I loved my DJ.

    I was in the 700 range too for uplighting, music, 5 hours, etc etc

    Can the ladies who posted how much they spent please tell who or what company they went with/are going with? I am looking for a DJ right now and you all have found WAY better prices then I have! Please share!
