rehearsal dinner in Lake Winnipesaukee area??

Does anyone know of a great (high-end, good service) restaurant in the Lake Winni area?  I know there's all the Common Man locations, but trying to stay away from them since my reception is at Church Landing and the food will be very similar.  Would love a really good Italian or Seafood place.  any input would be MUCH appreciated!

    We are also having our reception at Church Landing!  Yay for another CL bride!

    We are having our rehearsal dinner at Lago. It is a CM restaurant, but it's Italian and I don't think it will be too similar to our reception. I think if you went with Camp or the Lakehouse, you would be running into that problem. Lago can accommodate around 50 people. They have been wonderful so far.

    There is O's Steak and Seafood in Lake Port/Laconia. It's probably about 15 minutes away from there. Delicious food, high end, and they have a private area you could ahve it in. It's also completely different from the Common Man if you're trying to stay away from that due to the wedding. There is also Vineyards in Laconia, which is another good place, but I don't know if they have any sort of seperate room or not.

    I was in a wedding at CL and we had the rehersal dinner at Lago. The food was amazing and nothing like what we had the day of the wedding.

    I am getting married at Church Landing too! Someone told me about Abondante, which is Italian I believe. I am not sure if it is still open. It is just a short walk behind Mill Falls. I am headed up there this weekend to check it out!

    O in lakeport is really nice. Or there is Canoe  between Merdedith and Center Harbour that is owned by the same people..
