Bouquets against coral dresses

The colors for our wedding are coral and turquoise, and I'm going to have my bridesmaids in coral reef dresses from David's Bridal, with the MOH in a guava color of the same dress.  The two shades of coral compliment each other really well, but I'm looking for flowers that will really POP against the dress.  I was thinking an all white bouquet for the maids at first, but now I'm thinking lots of color might be better.  I definitely don't want a coral bouquet against a coral dress.  I think it'd be great to add a turquoise or blue element, but not sure how.

Has anyone worked with these dress colors or have any good ideas of flowers that would compliment them well?

Re: Bouquets against coral dresses

  • What about a yellow, coral and gray bouquet?  I love yellow against coral and it would defenitely pop!  Then mix it with creams and corals and use gray foliage (like eucalyptus,  dusty miller) to pick up on the turquoise or blue hue.

I am having the same problem, my colors are coral reef and silver. Idk what to do for flower colors...I was thinking daisies in a peach color with a brighter pink but I am wondering if it is going to be too much!
  • Do you have pictures of the coral dresses by any chance?!?  I had a friend take pictures at the store for me and it looks so orange.  On the website it looks nothing like it in real life she said... but the catalog looks more dead on.  Help ! :)

  • The dress on the left is coral reef, the one on the right is guava.  The girls will all be wearing the style on the left, but the MOH will be in guava and the rest in coral.  I think they compliment each other well.
Since I posted this I've been thinking white, coral, and green for the flowers.  I love green cymbidium orchids but if they're too pricey I might go with green hydrangeas with coral calla lilies and white dendrobium orchids
  • I really like the idea of an all white bouquet with  a small hint of ice blue hydrandea.  That will give a pop of blue that you were looking for but will not clash with the dress color.  Also, you could mix in a hint of green to give even more contrast.  Good luck on finding the perfect mix..
