Ceremony & Reception: Tampa Palms Golf & Country Club A+++++++
I worked with their coordinator Jeannelle who was heaven sent! She was always there for me for any questions that I had and was very reassuring when I started getting stressed towards the end. They were really able to work within my budget and were able to create my own wedding instead of forcing me into one of their “plans.”
They also have a very convenient hotel that is located just above the clubhouse. The rooms were nice and clean and VERY spacious which made getting ready with 7 people a lot easier.
Day of Coordinator: Becky Morgan-Life Events (www.lifeeventsllc.com) A++
So Becky is officially my sister-in-law now BUT she has been so helpful with the planning. She has called practically ALL of my vendors before I booked them to negotiate the prices. She has saved me a lot of money, time and stress. For this I am forever grateful!
Hair and Makeup: Michele Renee A
Michele’s team did a fantastic job on my trial and on the day of. Our hair and makeup was beautiful and as long as you tell her you do not want Texas style hair…she will not over-do it on the hair or makeup. My only complaint was that they had emailed me a timeline for the day of and so I forwarded it to my girls so they knew what time to be there. Well Michele and the girls showed up early and wanted to start early and so that gave me stress because it felt like we were running behind when in fact they were running early.

Dawn has been awesome to work with, her prices were very reasonable and the quality of the work is outstanding. We ended up using her photobooth for the night of the wedding and everyone had so much fun dressing up and having their photo taken. She has posted most of our wedding photos on her website within 1 and ½ weeks since the accident which is a lot faster than I would have expected.
Videographer: Movie Magic Productions A+ (Pending video)
Ian was great to work with, I hardly noticed him there throughout the day and we had a great time after the ceremony doing little “shots” for the video. I cannot wait to see the final product.
Ceremony/Cocktail Hour Music: Pink Fiddle A+
I briefly heard the music when we were waiting for the ceremony to begin, everything sounded wonderful and everyone raved that it was a nice special touch.
Officiant: Pastor Dean Ryder (www.flweddingpastor.com) A+
Pastor Dean and his wife Donna are the cutest darn couple, they’re so sweet together! Pastor Dean did a nice ceremony that had a little touch of religion but not too much which was exactly what we were looking for.
DJ-Sword Sounds-Dan Williams A+
So originally I was suppose to have Keith as the DJ but he had an emergency a week before the wedding and I got Dan. At first I was a little scared because there hadn’t been many reviews with Dan. All my worry was for nothing because Dan was awesome! He (tried) to keep us on track with our timeline as best as we would let him (we wanted to go to the bar and hang out with our friends lol) and he kept the crowd on the dance floor all night long! We had such a great time and I totally recommend Dan to anyone who needs a great, fun DJ!
Florist: FishHawk Florist B+/A-
I am really torn on this review. Our flowers were absolutely beautiful for both the ceremony and reception. Stephanie was also awesome enough to come to Tampa Palms while we were on our honeymoon to get some columns that we had used since I wasn’t able to meet her on Sunday like planned.
The issues I had was the week leading up the wedding Stephanie was suppose to call me to verify exactly what she was going to do regarding the centerpieces and she never called, I called her on Thursday and she said she’d call me on Friday and she never did.
Then on Saturday we had agreed for her to be there by 3:00 and when we called her she said 3:30 because she was running late. Apparently she was already running late and then her van broke down on the way to the venue. No big deal……I’m not going to let it ruin my day but what really irked me was is that we were doing the calling to get a status instead of her calling my point of contact.
Again, the flowers were beautiful and it was more than I could have imagined, I was just upset with the lack of communication.
