Tacoma Rehersal Dinner

Hi!

Does anyone know a good place to have a rehersal dinner in Tacoma? We have a fairly large party, including the large bridal party and out of town guests, 40 people about. I don't want to send the FI's parents into early bankruptcy.

Initial research shows that C.I. Shenanigan's has a banquet room buffett for $22 a person, which seems ok (I'd prefer more like $15 a person, but this may be asking too much) but I am guessing that there is an additional cost for using the room. I'll look into that one more. Not such a fan of the Old Spaghetti Factory. Other ideas?

Thanks!

Personally I'd check with the Vistor & Convention Bureau for some ideas of places.  There are some nice hotels w/restaurants as well..  http://www.traveltacoma.com/

If you don't mind going to Gig Harbor - Madrona Links Restaurant is doing my DD's rehearsal dinner for about 50 people for $16/pp including wine, service fee and tip.  This is for a buffet with a beef and a chicken entree, salads, potatoes, etc.  They have good food in a pleasant location on the golf course, although not fancy.

If you're responsible for the rehearsal dinner and it's being held in your hometown, consider holding the soiree at a favorite restaurant or other spot with

You can also try Joeseppi's in North Tacoma. I think they were quite a bit cheaper, if you like Italian food.
