Re: DIY Magnet STDs

  • I was so going to do this.. Since I'm DIY-ing everything else.. But then I got worried that I wouldn't cut my e-pics straight, and by the time I got done paying for printing my e-pics (because I wanted our pictures on them) and everything else including nice envelopes, I realized I'd be spending very little more, if any more for my STD's from magnet street. They were $2 each, and I got to put 4 pictures on them and the foil lined envelopes were included. I also had a 10% discount code which covered the cost of shipping, and I got to save myself time to get my other projects done faster.. But if you aren't using any pictures on your STD's, and not looking for fancier envelopes, this may be the cheaper option.

  • Great idea, but not necessarily any cheaper than some that you can order online. I ordered mine from Vistaprint with a 25% off code, and they were $0.96 each, including photo upload, customization, envelopes, and shipping. It was definitely worth the time saved, and they came out great. The only real difference from the Magnetstreet magnets is that they are thinner and a little more flimsy, but even still, they don't look cheap.
