Looking for blue wedding dresses

Hi

I want to wear a blue dress at my wedding. I'm having a hard time finding them, even online. Mostly I'm looking at bridesmaid dresses, but most of them aren't cut the way I'd like. Ideally I would find a trumpet/fit 'n' flare style midnight or sapphire blue gown.

Anyone know where I should look?

Almost every store will have holiday dresses out now. Maybe try there? I know my aunt had a trumpet style bridesmaid dress that she bought from a bridal salon. Have you looked at stores in person yet?

Department stores formal department. I wanted pink and gave up with the bridal salons. I looked into custom made dresses and in the end decided it would be more fun to sew it myself. Any of those options will give you what you want. Blues sounds great!

Alfred Angelo also just relseased a limited edition line called Cinderella Diamond... it's only offered through special trunk shows. Its hard to find images online, but Brides Magazine featured one of them in their November Issue and it was a grogeous fit and flare priced at $1,599. May be worth looking into a little more.

Totally didn't see where you wanted a darker blue.... so my suggestions probably weren't too helpful. Sorry! I would think prom dress as bridal salons will be your best bet

I second the ladies that suggest checking department store 'prom' style dresses! There are some GORGEOUS ones there!

Maybe also look for places that sell quinceanera dresses - they are very formal and come in different colours, and I've found a lot of blue ones. I was also thinking of getting a blue wedding dress, so I hope that you find something and don't have to search too hard!
