  I'm not having a fusion wedding, but for the reception my fiance is wearing a white Indoo-Western "sherwani". The top looks more Indian and the bottoms are like dress pants. It actually looks really nice, but they're more pricey than just a regular kurta. Here's a link to something that's considered Indo-western......

  If he's still not game for that idea, maybe the whole stoles w/tux will work out okay. Could they wear a tie that had a desi theme to it, or maybe even paggs?

  I know they make indian suits that have a indian look to them, I havent bought these for FI's groomsmen but have seen some online, perhaps go with that if he doesnt want them to wear indian.

  Hi,
  
  If the bottom line is that your fiance really wants his g.m. to wear western suits so they can have future wear out of them then I figure no indo western suit might do unless its really downplayed.
  So, how about these suggestions:
  
  Have them wear a brooch either where a boutonniere would be or on a scarf tied in place of a bow tie for the ceremony tucked in so just the front part covering neck and throat is showing.  A Punjabi turban brooch would work nicely.  Even an elaborate joomer like earring might do the trick.  Or a Tikka.
  These are things that you could use in the future or gift to the bridesmaids afterward if the g.m. have no interest in keeping them.
  Also you can make the handkerchief a brocade or similar Indian motif.
  You can also consider getting a matching/complimentary yard of fabric that goes with your dupatta border and have the g.m. wear them like cuffs on their shirt that peek out from their suit sleeve for the ceremony; you can pin them so that they don't ruin the shirt and no one will know they are not part of the shirt.  Then if they want to take them off for reception or keep them on for the whole event but at the end of the day their western suit is unchanged.
  
  I think these are some inexpensive ways to include the Indo in the look without looking kitsch.

  How about something like this?  The groomsmen wore suits, with coordinating ties but then had a stole that made it more of a fusion outfit. I like the look!

   I was just about to put a link that wedding that Raangoli posted as well.  I think the groomsmen's look would definitely work for a fusion wedding.  His garba outfit would be really nice for a fusion wedding too

  Thanks everyone for your suggestions!  They were all so helpful.  After looking through all of the websites, I think I like the suit (off-white) with the matching tie and scarf.  It looks nicer than I had imagined, so I think I am feeling more open to the idea now.  Thanks!
