I know it's early, but this is the time to get all your DIY stuff out of the way before the wedding sneaks up on you. I also know that some of you ladies are already getting into your DIY projects, so let's see them! And if you don't want to post pics, then let us know what's on your DIY list.
I designed our invites, RSVP cards, accommodations cards, etc. This was our old wedding date & venue, but the concept will still be the same. The "watercolor" photo in the background is our ceremony site. (My apologies for the horrible pic - they look so much brighter and clearer in person.)

I'm also doing our favors. It's a clear box with 4 Hershey miniatures, each depicting a different spot/attraction/famous place in the city where we're having our destination wedding. There will be about 12 different places, so each person will get a different variety of scenes. I'm toying with the idea of turning them into escort cards as well by putting the card/table assignment on the back and placing the favors upside down on the table at the reception. (We're also doing out of town bags for everyone, but I still wanted a favor at the actual wedding.)

I'm DIYing waterproof water bottle labels as well, since our ceremony will be outside and our guests will be given bottled water.
I will also DIY a large 3 wick candle with photos of all those who have passed away and couldn't be with us on our wedding day. This is my practice pillar candle with my grandfather's photo that I made.

Also going to try to find some cute pics so I can DIY a ring of flowers to put in the flower girls' hair with ribbons hanging off the back.
And I'm going to design a sign for us to put on the back of the carriage that will take us away from the ceremony site. It will say Just Married, but the "Just" will be crossed out and above it will be scrawled "Finally." It has been a long engagement and we're excited to FINALLY take the trip down the aisle. (On our wedding day, we will have been together for 10.5 years and engaged for 4.5 years, so yeah.... it's about time!)
