Addressing Invites to single person with no inner envelope

Hi Knotties,

I am not going to include an inner envelope in my invitations. Therefore I am wondering if it would be proper to just address the invitation to the single guest on the outer envelope. Then on the inside, on my RSVP, I have the wording: "We have reserved___ seats in your honor"
I am going to write 2 for all of the single people. Is this a good way to let the singles know they can bring a guest, without writing "and guest" on the outer envelope (of which I don't want to do)?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have!
