in May 2013 Weddings
Since everyone is talking about it, what would you do if you won the 500 million dollar jackpot tomorrow night?

I would

-pay off all debts
-buy a house
-buy my parents a house
-pay for everything I wanted for my wedding that we are not having due to budget

    Buy a house.
    Split a few million between our family members & close friends. 
    Buy season tickets for the Philadelphia Eagles. 
    Plan the exact wedding I want. 
    Travel the world for a really long time. 
    Save.

    Pay off my parents house and help my grandparents move into a retirement place
    Travel for a few months to far away places like Australia
    Get weekly massages
    Try and convince my dad to retire/send my parents to Italy for vacay

    Save the rest, especially for when car dies/I want a house eventually/I have kids/my sister has kids!

    Also go Eagles!

    Buy our dream douse
    Buy my parents a house
    Buy a summer house
    Have our wedding exactly how we want it
    Buy 2 luxury family friendly cars, I'd love a Lincoln MKX
    Donate a bunch to St. Jude's
    Give some money to people who need it

    Oh the possibilities:

    quit my job & hook up my co -worker enough for her to quit
    pay off my credit cards & student loan debt
    pay off FI credit cards & student loan debt
    pay off both our parents houses
    buy our own house
    donate to St Jude & my temple
    save for my future babies colleges

    That's all I can think of for now :D

    I was just talking about this at work  lol...

    • I would pay for the most extravagant wedding ever
    • Pay off student loan debt and FI debt
    • Quit my job
    • Build our perfect dream house
    • Buy our families a house and pay off all their debt along with sending them on a nice trip.
    • Finish school debt free.
    • Save for our little one's future
    • Oh and donate

    I think I'd keep working too, or at least volunteer. I'd get REALLY bored after a while, lol. Also, I'd donate to Planned Parenthood, GLSEN, Outfront MN and back to the rescue FI and I adopted our dog from :-)

    We actually just talked about what we would do!  We would pay off our debts and he would quit his job and come out here while I finished school.  Then, we would travel the world for a while, pay for the wedding of our dreams, buy the land for a house and have our dream home built while we travel some more.  A few new cars and some nicities for our families... 

    Then we'd put money away and invest smartly to have a lovely future for ourselves and our future family, give to some charities we like, and just love and enjoy each other.

    We'd:

    Pay off our debts
    Share several millions with close family and friends
    Fix up my condo (and rent it, instead of selling it)
    Fix up his house
    Pay for the entire wedding without worrying about money
    Sell our cars and buy two new cars
    Invest/Save
    TRAVEL TRAVEL TRAVEL! (my favorite part, beside the paying off debt thing)
