Need a mariachi!!

I know I've asked before, but I really would love to find a mariachi band in Nola or BR. FI was set on having them as it is tradition in his family. Here in Houston they are a dime a dozen, but we haven't been able to find a single one out there.

Any ideas would be so greatly appreciated...

    I am not sure if this will work, but maybe try calling La Carreta restaurant? I know I have been there before and they had a mariachi band, but it has been like 2 years since i have been there.  Just a suggestion. Good luck lady!
