    RSVP date was last Wednesday, so I'll start making calls this week. As much as I'm not looking forward to it, having a final guest count will be nice - so many projects depend on it! Oh, and we're under the count #s used on all quotes, so, hopefully we can save some $. Hope everyone has a good week :) ETA: Liz, that pic is awesome and is worth all the hassles!

    Well lets see......Thursday - nails done. 
    Friday - wrap up all loose ends, pick up cake, pick up dress.
    Saturday I'm getting married.

    Hoping for some RSVP for the wedding shower this week...RSVP date is Sept 7th..I hope everyone is just waiting until the last minute.
    This week..nothing big going on.
    I hope to get the invites over to FMIL house so she can start addressing them...Which means I need to finalize my guest list.
    I took my invites to the post office this weekend and to my suprise...They only cost 44 cents to mail out!!:):):)

    So those will go out in about 3 weeks.

    This week is my last week of doing so the week of the wedding I can just chill. So on the agenda for the week I am
    Printing programs and assembling the fans
    Printing escort cards hopefully my freaking FMIL is done adding people to the list
    Making Pommader balls
    Applying for our marriage license
    Paying off the reception hall and giving final numbers on Thursday.
    Finding the rest of the parents gifts (I'm open to any suggestions especially for my dad and Fi's parents?)
    Wrapping bridal party gifts
    Buying gift for my flower girl
    Picking up all my final materials like cake knife champagne flutes. Ribbon, additional decor for the cake table and candy bar table from Michaels and various other stores

    I think that about sums it up so this week is gonna be BUSY!

    And thanks Rachael!  I figured with football season starting up I could show some Spartan pride.  And you're right that it was worth all the hassle to have him there :)

    Is Steve more excited for the wedding or for football?

    Tonight we're going to look at our engagement photos finally! Aside from that, we've got the following to tackle (most of which will happen over the holiday weekend. Joy!
    - Figure out the men's attire and what color they'll wear (gray or black) so I can make a final decision on the color of the bridesmaid dresses.
    - Finish our registries
    - Do some fuzzy math for our place card display thingy that will be a poster of the Detroit skyline. The fuzzy math is required so that we can figure out what size posters we need so we can get them ordered.
    - Maybe start on our Save the Dates, depending on how long it takes to get the disc of our e-pics.

    NWR: Hopefully finishing up my MRI analyses, my next orgo class starts tonight (it already started last week but we really didn't do anything yet beyond review), and my lab is going to the Tiger's game on Wednesday so I get out of work early for it (YAY!).

    WR: Narrowing down our list of resorts we would like to stay at in Costa Rica.  We are down to 6 and I'd like it down to 2.  Hopefully we can also schedule our tasting and get an official start time for the ceremony so I can get the invites printed and start making the kangaroo pockets.

    Liz - I love the new siggy.

    Wetz - Congrats!

    Sheshe - Good luck getting everything done.  If there is anything I can help you with let me know.

    NWR: I just moved to Chicago yesterday.  There is a pile of boxes to get to the bottom of.

    -Thank you notes from our shower this past weekend
    -Meeting up with our photographer to go over day of time line
    -Starting to work with our band on play/do not play lists, and spotlight dance songs
    - Hopefully securing hair and make-up...this has only been on the list for a month now.
    -Ordering photostrip sleeves.

    NWR:
    -Organizing all of our amazing shower gifts
    -Work crazy hours with no life today, tomorrow and Wednesday
    -Forcing myself back into a workout routine

    Not to much WR this week.

    We have to find a place to live like yesterday. We have to be out of our current place in 30 days. Packing must get done also.

    Leaving Sunday to go to Colombus for three days to spend time with FI's friends.

    WR:  I need to order some more silk peonies for the centerpieces this week.  I also need to work on loosing weight!  Eeek!  I gained some weight since I ordered my dress - not good!!

    We got all of our placecards done this weekend! Whew!

    We have to:
    -Finish menus
    -Printing programs
    -Make cookies on Saturday that are the numbers 9.10.11 (I know, I know, way over the top but I just LOVE them!)
    -Finish up the guest-book table (we are doing cards with questions)
    -FINAL DRESS FITTING!!!
    -Marriag lisence

    And somewhere in their clean my house so the girls can get ready in it!

    This week we are finishing up the table numbers (er.. names) and starting to pull out suitcases to pack for the honeymoon.
    I also need to track down straggler RSVPs and finalize the seating chart
    Hopefully this weekend we can print out the escort cards and then drain our hot tub in prep for us being out of town for 3 weeks

    I dont think I have anythng WR this week...though I should hit Joanns and Hobby lobby (have coupons) and look for scrapbook paper for the table numbers.

    Ooh - good question! Honestly, I don't know. He has been chanting "football! football!" around the house...since he hasn't been chanting "menu cards! seating chart!" - I'm going to go with football! LOL!!! How about Todd?

    Love it!

    Todd is beyond excited.  He looks forward to college football season every year.  He told me last night that "this is our year.  National Champions!"  Every year he tells me the same thing...
