Help- need referrels for a photographer ASAP- we may be switching!

We are not happy with our engagement session photos and are thinking of switching photographers. Since we will lose our deposit of $350, we need to find someone who is $1500 or preferably less. We just want the rights to the high resolution photos on a disk, no albums or anything.
Has any one used someone for their wedding or engagement pics that they loved and can recommend?

My photographer is amazing! Her photos really are high quality. As I said in your other post, FI and I are pretty picky about photography and we were very impressed with her work. I went to high school with her so I've seen firsthand her passion for photography! She's very creative. She does all sorts of shoots and likes to tweak things for each person. We used Elise from Elisabeth Ann Photography. She is in your price range and we loved her. Also, all of her packages come with a second photographer. I would totally recommend her.

I'm using Imagen International. They're super great and super professional. They definitely fit in your price range, and since it's a bigger company, they might have photographers still available for your date.

It used to be Imagen by Alex del Toro, so that's why the url is such.

We're using kara knutson of m.e. photos. We loved our e-session. She's only $1000 for a full day of shooting, and all you get is a high rez disc of your images and the rights. our e session was >300 photos!

My husband and I are photographers! On that short of notice, we can offer 1 photographer for a lower rate and including the disk!

Are rates fit perfectly! We love to keep our prices and packages simple to reach more people! Our current rates are 2 photographers: $1500 for 5 hours and $1800 for 8, including a disk with both edited and all originals. We do offer prints and canvases on our site with reasonable pricing, but there is no obligation to buy!
