We have been searching for an officiant to perform our wedding and unfortunately keep coming up empty-handed. A while back, I thought that it would be nice to have my brother become ordianed for the day and perform the ceremony (he's in the Army, stationed overseas and we haven't seen him in almost 1.5 years and won't see him again for another 1.5 years after the wedding). Has anyone had a friend or relative perform their ceremony? I don't even know where to start the process.
