Hi guys!

Just wanted to stop in and say hello! I am going to be joining you. My FI and I have been engaged for oh, 4 yrs..., and after a couple false starts where planning kind of fizzled out (and our son being born in between. He's 3 now!)  we're finally on our way for a September wedding. Sept 8th to be exact!

I'm a little behind with my planning, just ordered my STDs yesterday.. and I nearly had a panic attack when I updated my profile and it the knot told me I had 94 items overdue. But I am excited to be joining you and finally get this thing planned.

We're doing a casual outdoor wedding, We just want it to be relaxed and fun, with good food and good friends and family and lots of libations. :)

    Welcome!!!  We are happy to have you.  This board is an awesome group of women and by far my favorite board.  Let us know if you need help on anything (wedding related or not) or just want to share some progress.  Hope you'll find this board to be extremely supportive.  And, you'll get some honest feedback without the snarkiness you can sometimes find on other board...which is great to have.  Let us know how everything is going!

    here you go! i don't have a ton done. we're having the reception in the backyard (it's in the country, so there's lots of land) Doing a tent, dancefloor, etc right there.

    it's going to be a super casual bbq - for dinner, we're going to have pig roast with mac & cheese, salads, etc.  need to finalize the menu with the caterer. my colors are greens and browns. I want a really rustic, homey look.

    i have a photographer picked out, rental company for the tent and stuff
