Dress Cleaner?

Does anyone have a suggestion for dress cleaning and preservation? I didn't see this as one of the vendors in the sticky post. I live near Uptown, but I'm fine with going to the suburbs if that's where the best one is. Thanks!

    I posted a place. Market Cleaners in Irving on Northgate and MacArthur. He was amazing.

    I took the dress in and he looked at the beading and lace appliques and the dirty hem. He said he could do it, but if for some reason he couldn't he would call me and not clean it.

    He charged $108 with tax. He also has preservation service but I don't know anything about that. HTH!

    I sent mine to Affordable Preservation Company.  Preservation locally that I found was ridiculously expensive (..and I'm betting most of them send them off anyway) so I just cut out the middle man.  

    I'll post a review when I get it back.

    sorry! i just looked at what was requested in the first post and didn't see cleaner. i lose.

    BUT, i have used him for regular cleaning and liked him. just didn't know if there was, like, the Becky Fowler equivalent for this service that somehow i'd missed.

    Nope, and actually I talked to Becky Fowler and she doesn't have any suggestions either. I called her about steaming my dress the week of the wedding and she said to bring some of his cards and if he did as good as a job as I'm claiming she's going to start passing them out when girls ask her.

    Do you know the name of the person with whom you were working at Market Cleaners?  I need to get my dress cleaned, too, and if I go there, I would love to work with the same person.  Thanks for your help!  I am also looking into Affordable Preservation Company based on the good review for that company.
