So many brides have been saying get the photographer ASAP. Can anyone recommend any? i like creative pictures not the formal posed pics all my relatives had in their weddings but i do want some traditional pics just not so stiff. and while the photos are important i do not want to spend more then $2,000.

    the good photogs book up super fast, we used john loconte from www.johnlophoto.com and i cant recommend him enough

    I would recommed Shannon from S.Graham Photography.  www.sgrahamphotography.com. She is well within your budget with no time limit the day of the wedding

    Pixel Perfect Weddings (married couple willing to do anything.  They're so fun and very professional)

    Artifact Images (they just did a wedding at the Boston aquarium)

    Both are in NH and travel.  Both are awesome.

    Our photographer was Julie Surette (http://juliesurettephotography.com/) and we absolutely loved her. She is a doll, her pricing is reasonable (she also traded an item or two around in the package we wanted so she is willing to customize), I loved all her work - we haven't even seen more than a few of the pics yet because our wedding was only last weekend, but I can't wait to see the rest. She is wonderful and I'd recommend her to anyone.

    David Bibeault of DP Photography! We had him and Jamie. Loved them both and would use either of them again in an instant. Prices are reasonable, they're great to work with and pictures are amazing!

    we're using scott metzger....he's on the pricier side, but photos mean a lot to me, so we spent a little extra $$$ to get a great photographer and he is really nice...we liked him immediately.

    our runner up was Berry Photos....he was very nice too and cost less

    we did meet w/John Loconte and he was nice, but we liked the other 2 photographers styles better

    their were a couple of others we were going to consider, but they were already booked on our wedding day:

    LOL You have SO MANY responses ! I'm most likely going with RockRidge photography because he offers a mix of different styles. I'm on the smallest budget ever so he was able to come up with exactly what I wanted for exactly the price I could pay. ($1,0000) I like that all of his stuff includes two photographers and Derrick is the owner of the business. Check him out :) (the site it under construction) http://www.rockridgeworld.com/

    I would like to suggest berry photos as they've been great so far and I enjoy their portfolio. I cannot comment on them personally yet as my wedding has not happened. But I chose them after reading great reviews on here as well as that wedding wire site with all the reviews. Meeting their main guy though he was really easy going and I felt comfortable around him, he was funny and most of all personable and professional at the same time.

    We're usuing Jennifer Stoker of Darling Photography.  She's from Maine but will travel and has some amazing work and very, very reasonable prices.

    hi we are having a short run into our wedding and so found a lot already booked up. We ended up going with roberto farren photography. really nice guy and just starting after moving from england i think so had some really great rates. might be worth checking out. i thnk he had availablity for this year. his website is http://www.robertofarrenphotography.com
