We have been talking about geting married for several months. Then on Saturday after the Pre-Cana, we went to Tri-County mall to go walking, and he turned to me and asked me if I wanted to pick out my ring. We found what we wanted at Osterman's, he formally proposed right there, and I get my ring next week. We put the deposit down for Dearborn Country Club on Saturday also. Then last night we finally found a dress for my sister at David's Bridal. She encouraged me to try on a couple dresses while we were there even though I was going to have mine made (I couldn't find what I wanted) and then I fell in love with the first one I tried on. Margaret Oldfield has agreed to do the alterations instead of making my dress. Best of all, my daughters have finally accepted the fact that I am going to get married. Life is good!
