Weather Channel

So my wedding is outside and I'm very controlling, therefore I've been anxiously and not so patiently waiting for the 10 day forcast on the weather channel to come up. How frusterating is it that today I have 10 days until the wedding but the weather channel is one day off. Grrrr, I just want to know!!!

    Same here!  Unfortunately, it's been thunderstorms in Fort Walton Beach, Fl!  I hope it changes!

    It doesn't matter how controlling you are, you can't control the weather! 
    I assume you're having an outside wedding?
    We were just discussing with our florist yesterday about rain being good luck.
    And PP, she had pictures from her son's friend's wedding, where they are strolling on the beach and the photog captured 2 lightning bolts over the water behind them.  Once in a lifetime picture!

    I know I can't control the weather, but the point isn't to control it, the point is the mentally prepar myself for rain. And also if it does rain then I can schedule a day after shoot with our photographer if the weather is better.

    I will warn you...a 10 day forecast is NOTHING but a guess.  My FI is a meterologist and we have several friends who spend their days "forecasting" and anything past 72 hours is a generalization.  Sooo much in weather can change in day, even hours so dont get to hooked on what they say now.

    You can find extended forecasts online that go farther out, but who knows how accurate those are?

    Try not to focus on the weather though because like PPs said that is one thing you can't control!

    That's one "guest" you just can't count on. Hopefully it will be a beautiful day with no storms, but I would plan on some shleter just incase the unwanted "guest" shows up. Good Luck!

    I know exactly how you feel. There is nothing that us controlling people can do about it, but it is still stressfull. All I have been wishing for is sun on Aug 18th. Hopefully it comes true. Best of luck to you on your special day. I hope the sun shines!!!

    I checked the farmer's almanac.... LOL  Even with all of the extremely hot weather we have been having this summer it's supposed to be a cooler day with no rain.  But I don't know how accurate it is.

    Accuweeather is an app you can dl onto your iPhone that shows 14 days in advance
