Plus Size Brides??

Hi,

My wedding is May 2012 and the one thing I have left to do is find the perfect dress.  I've been dreading this day but I know I have to get going in the next week or 2.  Have any of you found a shop where they carry plus size samples?

Thanks

I was a plus size bride. I went to the Bronx to Gowns By Louise. Louise is awesome and will help you in any way you need. I picked my dress 2 weeks before the wedding and had it altered in time perfectly

I'm on the cusp of plus size, really what's so hard is that I'm a tall girl and curvy so I have a hard time wih clothes in general, much less bridal gowns! So I know exactly how you feel. I am going to Be Unique Boutique in Mt. Kisco and then House of Botticelli next Saturday, I will definitely post here to let you know what kind of sizes they have! GOOD LUCK!!!

Thank you Ladies!  @BellaSposa223 I'm so glad you had a positive experiece at Louise's store.  I've read really bad review and I didn't want to chance it.  @AlliScott414, please let me know how your dress shopping goes, so excited for you.  I'm going to get over myself and do the same, I'm sure it will all be fine.

I went to Lady Gray in Beacon. I am a size 14, and the woman Tina, who works there took one look at me, and started pulling dresses. She never asked me my size! Not even one. Every dress fit me so well, it was as if they were made especially for my body type. It was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, she was over $2200 for most of her gowns I tried on, and I couldn't afford them. So, I had found my dress at David Bridals in CT. My friend recently had gotten married and she is a size 20, she also found her dress at DB - but in Middletown. She looked stunning on her wedding day. HTH! Goodluck!
