Evening ladies!

Well we had lunch at Maggiano's so I'm having salad for dinner this evening. It was delicious, just couldnt eat it all. I think it's too bed early tonight, I'm so tired.

I've asked Shay for her crafting advice, but this will be a present so I wont post this on FB. Anyone have any idea what this wreath is missing, or not missing?

    HI!  It's still raining, and there's snow on Pikes Peak.

    That's cute, kd.  I might add some red and green ornament balls to it - I think it needs a little more color.

    Thanks les, I'm trying to keep it neutral. Not overdo it. I was thinking maybe a dark brown ribbon to hang it? Its not really a Christmas wreath more of a winter. KWIM?

    ah, yes.  I think the ribbon would look good too.  Balance out the browns in the bottom half.

    Thanks, I figured thats what I needed. H is no help at all, he thinks there should be more stuff around the gingerbread man. I have about 4 more to make I'll let you tell me what I need.


    This is my newest aquisition from Etsy, ready for candles and fall leaves!

    I think it's cute as it is, kd!

    Landed back in Colorado a few hours ago. My mom and I were so busy the past week that we didn't find the time to go wedding dress shopping.  I still have over 400 days to find The Dress so I'm not sweating it! I did have my great-grandmother's cracked sapphire removed from my engagement ring and had the side stones replaced with diamonds, so at least I can check that off my list.

    Took a bubble bath and now I'm relaxing and have the house to myself for a bit.

    I've been in Dallas visiting my mom for a week! I miss her so much already, it's crazy.  

    I've seen some amazing wreaths on Pinterest. I wish I could make them but I'm not crafty like that! ;)

    eh, my wreaths are easy, it only requires being able to wrap yarn around a foam circle and rosettes are nothing,

    Kd, you need to open an etsy shop! I'm here for a few minutes. H and I are going to watch Parenthood in a bit. I'm so glad fall shows are coming back. Though we've realized too many of our favs are on at the same time so they can't all be DVRd. That probably makes us sound like lame couch potatoes ha ha. Oh well.

    KD, I think it needs a pop of color. Maybe gold or green to match the gingerbread man.

    No, we have the same problem, this is why we have 3 tv's,record 2 in the LR and watch another in the BR.

    And thanks Shay, but I only have the energy to make my own stuff. It's like reading, I get into books for awhile, than I have a dry patch. Lately I've been very domestic, cooking crafty, cleaning, I thiink I'm sick!

    Sesh, sounds like your class is still going really well! Glad to hear it. All those nerves for nothing =). Dot, everything is better covered in glitter. I bought a boatload of dollar store pumpkins last years and spray glittered the helllll out of them. They now look fabulous. Though I find glitter EVERYWHERE. (and now I'm hoping you weren't being sarcastic about glitter ha ha)

    Oh I still have nerves, shay. I just pretend like I don't.

    I have a Christmas decoration that's covered in red glitter. When I get it out, glitter goes everywhere.

    This reminds me I need to go buy a tabletop easel for my event this weekend. Then I need to paint it. Ugh, I don't wanna.

    Thanks Sesh I think we've decided I can bring in the color on the ribbon. I may find something else to glue on there later. I have about 4 more to make if not more.

    Hey y'all! Back from the pizza party and in to bed. I took the day off today and thought I would have to go in tomorrow early for court, but, my assistant called to say the judge cancelled the trials and so I have all day tomorrow to do paperwork. I am so glad. The next couple of days at work should be smooth sailing, then it's the weekend. I can't wait.

    Oh, and I forgot. KD, I love the wreath, I think a pop of color with a bow would be good, but, I also think a nice white bow would look good.
