joyful video - reviews? found a coupon!

Hello hello! Has anyone used Joyful video? if so, what were your thoughts? found a deal on wedding channel. $50 for $650 towards your video package. seems almost
 too good to be true.

Re: joyful video - reviews? found a coupon!

  • I am wondering the same thing! I don't need high quality video and wasn't originally planning on using video.

  • bereasonable2 is right...I've seen 2 family members jump on "great deals" only to be DISTRAUGHT over the service, one being DJ and the other being video.

Do your homework and check the reviews/feedback from bride's who have used their service. My brother booked "The Pros" (anything but) for his DJ/Videography and he got exactly what he paid for. The emcee was maybe 60 years old with ZERO sense of what a modern wedding should be like. He had to read the intros from a note card (which he could barely read) and was also responsible for mixing the music while on the mic. There was no assistant to help him out...

I counted 4 times where the song ended and there was a good 5 second delay before the next song would come on.

Anyways, my point is that it looked like a GREAT deal at first glance. In hindsight however, he got exactly what he paid for which was mediocracy.
  • the reviews on weddingwire are great. i've taken advantage of good deals before such as on groupon and i haven't had a bad experience yet which is why i'm open to this one. i can get the editing done on my own if i don't like it but i'm more looking to hear about others' experiences with this company. i appreciate the input from all of you!
