Invite Question

I sent out my invitations Thursday morning.  It seemed that a lot of people received theirs on Friday and Saturday.

I was talking to my friend last night, who received it Saturday, and she mentioned that a friend of ours has not received hers yet.  They live down the street from each other.

Did anyone else have people not receive invites?  This is really stressing me because now it's like I don't know who or who hasn't received an invite.

Should I start calling people or wait a little bit?  Our response date is May 7th.

On another note, does anyone know how to do the invite ticker?

TIA

    I don't how to do the ticker...sorry.

First though....breathe!  I would give it a litlte while and wait to see what other people say.  If you hear from a few other guests that know they should be receiving an invite and haven't, then either send out another one or call the post office.  Also, for some weird reason, we got 3-4 invites returned to us in the mail for not enough postage.  It was the same on every invite.  I have no idea why that happened...but it could be the case.  I wouldn't call anyone until after the RSVP date.

Good idea, I'll just wait until after the deadline.

I have no idea if anyone hasn't received their invites.  Well, one was presumed missing by a household that received multiple invitations, but that was because the person whose was "missing" was the one to get the mail that day and nabbed hers right away.

For the invite ticker, I just googled "the knot invitation ticker" and it came up with a site that had it.  I think it was a Charleston knotties page.

Today is my RSVP deadline and I'm still waiting for LOTS of responses.  I am going to wait until Monday to start calling people. Most of the people we're waiting to hear from are family on both sides (really???).

Maybe the "missing" invitation is a little delayed.  Something similar happened to me and the person's invitation arrived a few days later than the close neighbor's.

I hope this doesn't freak you out.  Like Smange said, breathe, and the RSVPs will roll in!
