Hello ladies:
First i want to say hello! I have been swimming in work stuff and I think I have found time to get back into the fun wedding stuff. Yippee.  Our rings are in my dress came in yesterday (just got the VM) and the invites as well!  Is it April yet?

Stephie, thank you so much for recommending Etsy. I found a seller there that made mine so much cheaper and they are gorgeous!  But, we put John's name as a Jr. cause we knew it would make his mom happy (he hates the Jr. thing) Then right below we wrote "son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack W"...  His dad goes by Jack instead of John but it looks silly to say that John is a Jr. and then his dad has a different name!  Do you think anyone will notice?  NO ONE calls his dad John but I know the formal invite is supposed to be formal and official names. blah blah 

It's not like I can redo 100 invites but I just need someone to tell me it's ok!!

Today marks 4 months exactly, I cannot wait!

    I think having 'Jack' on there is fine. His side of the family will know that he goes by Jack and the worst anybody else will think is that maybe Jack is his stepfather? lol I really don't think anybody will even comment on it.

    I don't think anyone would really notice.  I know I'm absent minded like that and wouldn't :P

    It's not something I would worry about.  Several of our family don't know when we are getting married!!  They've received an STD and an invite and they are all saying, "I glanced at it and put it up" so I think we spend more time looking at it than anyone.

    Glad you found Etsy!  But be careful--I got absolutely addicted and couldn't stop!  :)

    I doubt anyone will notice.  Like you said, it's done now anyway.  Don't worry about it.

    shortgirl, that is so funny. I know, half the time people don't even realize they have an invite on their bulletin board. I know his mom will notice but she will be nice about it. I just want to get it all right. I always on people with work stuff to PROOFREAD before they get anything printed. Ha ha, jokes on me!  But the invites are gorgeous!!

    Isn't Jack a common nickname for John? Plus, most people probably won't even read the parents' names, I'd think.
