Grooms Cake??

Hi Ladies!  Does anyone have a suggestion for a location I can contact about a Grooms Cake?  I booked my wedding cake with Cakes by Tammy, and she does not do grooms cakes.

I want to get something a little crazy... with fondant and all.  We plan to serve it at the rehearsal dinner so it will only have to serve about 25 people.

I contacted Creative Cakes.. but they came back with a quote for $450 - which seems a little too high for 25 people.  Basically, I want a cake.. that looks like a folded up pile of clothes.  Seems a little odd - but it's going to look like his Steelers gameday attire - which he takes very seriously.  It's a surprise, and I think he will be thrilled. 

Any help would be appreciated!!

    I recently ordered my groom's cake from Oakmont Bakery.  I designed the cake with is not fondant but just icing but for a red velvet sheet cake that will serve 40 people it came to $120.  Check out their website and you might find some more information if they can do fondant.  Good luck!!

    She did my daughter's bridal shower cakes( purse and a Sex and the City one), plus a Stanley Cup Groom's Cake.

    In May she made me son's college graduation cake - a police badge. 
    Cakes are beautiful, affordable and delicious!!

    Thanks for posting this!  I've been wondering about where to get a groom's cake too...  I want to get a carrot cake (since that's his favorite) shaped like Hulk Hogan (his idol...lol) as a surprise.  Carrot cake is one of the choices on Autumn's list, so that's a good sign!  

    Just so I know how to fit this into the budget, how much do groom's cakes normally cost?  It would need to serve about 120 people.  Are they as expensive as wedding cakes?  $450 for 25 people is insane!!

    Thanks for the suggestions!   I'll def look into both Oakmont and Autumn's Cakes!

    I'm honestly not sure what to expect on the cost, yet.. still trying to shop around and find something reasonable.  My idea may have too much detail involved.. maybe I need to think of something else.

    My daughter and son-in-law's wedding cake by Autumn's Cakes was carrot and it was delicious! :)

    We have also bought Grad School and birthday cakes from her.  She is a wonderful lady.

    Some other flavors we have had are the white with raspberry filling and chocolate with peanut butter.

    Prices will depend upon the size, design and fondant versus buttercream, etc.
    I don't know what the cost of the Stanley Cup Groom's Cake was -- but I definitely know that the badge, purse and SATC themed cakes were under $100.00 each and I had each cake made for around 50 people.
