? for May 26th and 27th Brides

Good Morning, Ladies! I was wondering when you ladies will be mailing out your invitations? I was planning on mailing them out the week of March 27th. But, I wasn't sure if I should send them out earlier since it is a holiday weekend? I just want to make sure that people have enough time to decide since it's a big travel weekend.

We sent out our invites Tuesday, and the wedding is May 26. We wanted to make sure to give our guests plenty of notice.

I sent mine out at the 3 month mark. I wanted to give people plenty of time make travel arrangements, especially since over half of our guest list is OOT...and not just the next town over, like almost 1000 miles away. Just IMO, if I got an invitation to a wedding 8 weeks out and it was a pretty far distance, I probably wouldn't go because that wouldn't be enough notice for us (especially during a holiday weekend).

I'm hopefully sending mine out this weekend. And my RSVP date is pretty early. t's April 15th. I also sent out save the dates, and I figure by this time people know if they're coming or not considering the holiday weekend and all.

I am sending mines out Mar 19th. I finally have them ready for print (which will be getting done tomorrow). Next week, we will assemble, address, and stamp them and drop them in the mail Monday morning, Mar 19. My RSVP date is April 22. so that will give them a month to reply and give me a month to prepare.

Thanks everyone! I have half of them addressed and ready to go. Guess I'll have FI help me finish and we'll ship them out on Saturday. Our RSVP date is April 21st. So, that gives them a little over a month to send it back. Luckily, most people are here in Columbus or the surrounding areas. The people who live out of town have known for a while. Thanks again!

My mom is doing the addressing so she'll probably be done around the 23rd and then they need to go out ASAP. Response date is April 28. I sent STDs early to lots of people so hopefully they have already planned not to do any traveling on that weekend!

I think we'll send them out around the 15th. We do have a LOT of OOT guests (including international ones), but we sent out STDs to all guests back in September and we have a website, so this is more of a formality than anything else. Still looking forward to sending them though!

I'm sending them out as soon as they get here! I'm hoping to send at least the OOT ones next weekend, and then get the in town ones out after that.

I sent STDs out months ago, so everyone should know, when we're getting married... and then we plan to send out invitations the week of March 26th... for out of town guests, i actually sent the invitation in February already, in case they needed to buy plane tickets... but local guest, will get the invitation on March 26th... that gives them 3 weeks to respond to RSVPs... i'm pretty sure, i have to follow up on some of them afterwards anyways, since not everyone responds to RSVPs on time...
