Lip & eye color

I almost never wear lip stick, lip gloss, or eye shadow. I am very fair (with yellow undertones), I have very light blue eyes, and red hair. I feel like every color of eye shadow and lipstick I try on just looks obtrusive on me. I usually just stick to plain eye liner and mascara. I would really like to wear eye shadow and lipstick on my wedding day but I don't know what to wear that won't make me look like a clown. Any suggestions??? Thanks!!

    I would go to a place like Sephora or Ulta and have them help you.  They'll be able to get the best matches for you and will be able to try them out so you can see how they work.

    Neutrals work relatively well on almost everyone.  For eyeshadows I would try maybe some lighter browns, or even copper colors if you're feeling a little more gutsy.  Try a pale/light pink for a lip gloss or lipstick (not Barbie pink, but something just a smidge more rich than skin-pink).  I'm a blonde, but I also have fair skin with light blue eyes, and I like to use a medium brown eyeshadow with a little shimmer in it and a lip gloss from Mary Kay called Coral Rose.

    I agree about neutral colors. Keep things light and shimmery. Since your eyes are blue, I would go with brown tones to make them pop. As for the lipstick, if you want to stay pretty neutral go with something that is a similar shade to your natural lip color (or maybe a shade darker) with a bit of shine.

    I wouldn't actually do much shimmer- it doesn't generally photograph well.

    Have you tried the Urban Decay Naked Palette?  It's amazing neutrals.  I'd also use a neutral pink lip liner (aim for the color of inside your bottom lip) and do clear gloss over it.
