Guest list mini vent

I just want my guests to stop moving and changing relationship statuses! Already today since picking up my invites my cousin has announced her intention to divorce her H and FI's uncle and kids (who used to live in the same house as FI's aunt - brother sister, not H/W) is moving and doesn't know 100% if the kids will move too or if the older ones will still live at the aunt's house. We also had FI's BM move but at least were able to get the new address to the printer in time.

Seriously people, envelopes have been printed and I only have so many extras. Can you all just stay as you are for 3 more weeks when I mail my invites.

**Note that I realize that my guests have lives and I don't actually expect them to stop moving/changing their relationships. I'm just frustrated.

We are having the same "problem" with people moving! Luckily they've been people we talk to on a semi-regular basis. If some people on our guest list moved, we'd have no idea (like people that we or our parents don't talk to regularly but were important enough to invite to the wedding.)

I feel ya! We're not quite as crazy as you, but my sister, a BM, an usher and a guest have all moved in the past month. So now I'm just hoping no one else does until the invites go out!

OMG! So true! Our guest list has had so many people added and removed and added again. Also the address! My invites are also the seal and sends, so I'm not losing just an envelope, its the whole invite. Luckily though, I haven't gotten my invites in, so I haven't started addressing yet.

I know what you mean. For some reason, our friends seem to be very mobile. Some are still students (even though we're in the second half of our 20s), and apparently some just like to move. Finally, along with getting their address, we also asked if it would be there same address through August.

Yeah, I feel your pain! It seems like I am updating our spreadsheet every other day! I've decided not to print the addresses on the envelopes until a week or so before I want to mail them. I told FI that he has until the middle of July to confirm addresses and whatevers on there after that, is what is being used and I won't be sending out another one if they don't get. I know that's kinda harsh, but I just don't have the time, energy, or patience to deal with keeping up with all of that too.

Let's just hope they do a change of address with their post office!
