I need help!

I met with 2 photographers and I loved them both. Both of them have great packages for a decent price. 
Which one has  the best pictures to you?

    Honestly?  Neither.  The first one is great but has some exposure issues and often crops at odd areas, fingers, hands, joints, etc.  If you're outside for your event, take this one but eh, for your money you could do better and again just my opinion. 

    No for 2.  The website is poorly laid out with uppercase and lowercase mixed.  How does this tie into your pictures you may ask, well small details are KEY on your wedding day and if they can't keep proper focus on their home base, how will they focus on you.  I also do not like the photoshop filters on all the images, give me crisp clear photojournalistic images without filters.. I want to see my day as I saw it then, not blurry or with odd filters.  This person is however a great landscape photographer. 

    I'd ask from both to see a full wedding gallery or two and maybe decide from there?

    Very interesting you (shutterbug) bring up some great points. It is hard to find a cheaper photographer for good quality. Both of these photographers are newer to the business (5 years).


    My wedding is at the Riverdale Manor under an outside pavillion. The reception is in a large high ceiling room with windows lining one side for natural light. The grounds are beside a river and are wooded.
    The 2nd photographer does have a full set of weddings if you click on "more pictures" then "more pictures" again. You will find full wedding sets.

    between both, the first...I dont like the horrible photoshop on the second.  Some of the pictures are too retouched and they look plastic

    I agree with you centralbride. Now that everyone pointed that out. The photoshop is kind of overdone. I do like the black and white with the red rose. But the other pictures do look fake and plastic like.

    What time is your ceremony?  Outside is awesome but they're going to need fill light to avoid hard shadows if your ceremony is in the summer/early fall months between 10am and 4pm.  The closest hours to noon the harder the light and harder to mask those harsh shadows.  Just a thought to keep in mind:)

    My ceremony is at 3:30pm on July 14, 2012.
    Chris Hayes photography said that the lighting is not an issue. I am checking into the photographer that she meantioned above as well.

    http://www.tischhaus.com is an excellent photographer. He's still new to the wedding business, so his prices are still affordable - but he's an excellent photographer.
