You should post this on the Minnesota Board.....If you look to the left, there is a link for "Local Wedding Boards" Click on that and then click on the appropriate Minnesota Board. This is an international board, so we won't be as much help as your local ladies.

I love my venue - Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie.  Very reasonable, both for the food minimum ($4500) and the Saturday room rental from 9am to 1am ($700).  The reception room is beautiful, and the ceremony will be there also, outside by the "waterfall garden."  Love it!!  What is your price range?  I did a ton of research on venues around the TC and still have most of the pricing for them in my wedding file.

Welcome to the MSP board :) You will find the ladies here incredibly helpful with any and all wedding related (and non-wedding related :) ) questions.
Is there a particular part of the metro you're looking at?

I love my venue- Bracketts Crossing in Lakeville! It was a little further out of the metro than we wanted but we loved the venue so much it was worth it. Plus you can do ceremony and reception at the same place. I swear I looked at about 50 places though- so depending on the size of your wedding and budget I would be happy to give you some suggestions!

we are having ours at Royal Cliff Banquet Hall in Eagan :) It is a huge, family owned and operated banquet hall with AMAZING food! and they are very reasonably priced compared to other facilities in the area that I looked at!
