I haven't been on Pinterest for a few days. I'm perusing the feed today, and see a pin that I didn't make, to a board I didn't create. I went to my own board listing, and there are 5 new boards I didn't create, with one pin.

Has this happened to anyone else? I don't see a setting that I can change.

I havnt had that happen BUT ive seen some people with a board with a pin that looks like an ad in it, and nothing else. Sometimes multiple boards wiht only that same pin, but theyre all called different things. What was the pin?

It looked like an ad, and was entitled "I love to work from home" or someshit. The boards had names like "make more money", "things i want", "save the economy". It all looked spamm-y

I've been seeing this more and more lately, and I think it is some type of spam for sure. I wonder if it's like Facebook where you click on a bad link and they hack your account and start posting stuff under your name.

I deleted the board before I realized I should have written down who I supposedly pinned it from. Damn spammers/hackers are going to ruin everything fun.

Yeah ive noticed stuff like that, but nothing on my own. I had a spam issue today, some rando pins were showing up and I clicked on the person and they only had one board and I know I never followed them.

I have so many boards because I am sorta nitpicky about the organization of them, I also dont like it once a board hits more than once page because its hard to keep track of things. Once a certain board starts getting too big, I find a way to recategorize its contents.

I noticed at first that I had the 'default' Pinterest boards as well as some others so I assumed Pinterest had made me take them back because I deleted them a while ago. Then later last night I saw the same weird "I love working from home!" pin, and I was like, Ew, who posted that. But then i realized it was posted by me, and I was sad.</div><div>

How do you get the little pin symbol to link to your pinterest?! (I get no one will even bother to click it, but yeah!)

If you've had any random thing happen on your pinterest, I would change your password. It's probably a sign that someone has access to your account. Plus, it's better to be safe then sorry.
