Hi everyone, I'm new to this board. I just got engaged last week, and am planning on getting married in mid-late May. I have always wanted to have a wedding/reception at beach house that has a large yard area. We're going to have guests from the Philly, Trenton, and NYC area, so I want to find a good in-between place...maybe Asbury Park or LBI. I'm expecting to have over 100 guests, so there needs to be plenty of room. Unfortunately, finding this type of space has been hard so far. Has anybody accomplished this before? Any recommendations as to realty agencies to call, or any reliable websites? Most of what I found does not appear to be legit.
Or would I be better off doing the traditional route and renting a venue? The house idea was a way to save money and to have something non-traditional, but I'm not sure if it's realistic. Thanks for the advice.
