I have obsessive compulsive disorder- so I have a lot of little things that have to do with numbers etc. But I think it's more my disease, and not superstitions. That being said, the number 13 is one I avoid, but I'm actually getting married on that day.

Not really. I do say "knock on wood" when I talk about something that I wouldn't actually want to happen. But as far as black cats, or the number 13 it doesn't really bother me.

Not really. My grandmother is Swedish and always told us that Friday the 13th was lucky, so I usually go with that. As far as other superstitions, I don't really think about it at all.

I think it's hard to avoid certain superstitions growing up in an Italian family LOL!

I am not superstitious at all considering my birthday is the 13th of June. I love when my birthday is Friday the 13th!

My birthday is the 13th (August), and I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. I'm not worried. In 31 years, I've never had a bad Friday 13th.

Usually, I have good luck on Friday the 13th until the last one we had in April. I have never ever lost jewelry and we went out that night and I lost my 1ct diamond hoop earring FI got me one year for Christmas at a club. My hair must have in clasped it somehow, or I didn't clasp it tight enough. I saw it missing in a bathroom and knew it was lost forever. We went club hopping. I called all of them the next day, and no one had it. I cried the remainder of the night when I saw I lost it. I was soooo upset. My FI picked me up that night and I said "Fianc, I have something to tell you." he noticed I was upset. Ten I told him I lost the earring. He later told me he though I cheated on him from how upset I looked and the way I said it. Lol

Yes and no. I typically avoid certain ones and adhere to others. I don't care about Friday the 13th. Its just another day but I don't walk under ladders, open umberellas inside, won't be wearing white to any WR functions before the big day..etc.

I don't think I am...I've had good Friday the 13ths and bad ones...today has had ups and downs...

I am extremely susperstisous. The 13th doesn't bother me much but the number 6 is horrible for me kinda like in the movie Where the heart is where 5 is horribly unlucky for her. I don't go around black cats ever. I'm careful with mirrors and will not open an umbrella indoors. I try to avoid sidewalk cracks and I never pick up coins if they are tails up. The list goes on for a while actually but I am pertty superstitious and adhering to them has kept me pretty lucky I think.
