Beach wedding shoes?

  I'm having the same question.  Right now I'm leaning towards no shoes.  I'm thinking flip flops are just going to kick up sand, but I'm scard being barefoot, the sand might be hot.

  I've never once in my life been comfortable walking on sand while wearing shoes, even flip flops.  Especially flip-flops.  They always get caught in the sand and fall off.   I vote for barefoot:-)

  We're getting married May 18 in Destin FL. I think I'll just get it hemmed to my bare feet.  How about u?

  I'm having a beach wedding and trying to decide the same. I'm a total shoe girl though, and would be sad if I couldn't rock a pair of amazing heels on my wedding day. As of now the plan is to go barefoot for the ceremony, then wear some cute heels for the reception.

  Hi!!! Saw your posts on here and saw that you are getting married in Destin!!! We are getting married in Santa Rosa Beach at CabanaBlueon June 9th 2012!!! Please let me know what you think about the shoe thing.....I know that the sand gets so hot there....have been trying to let my girls know what to wear too!
