RSVP envelopes too small?

I finally have received my invitations and I was so excited to mail them this weekend-until I went to the post office!

Apparently my envelopments RSVP envelopes are a little bit below the minimum length required by Canada Post.

The lady at the counter suggested putting 2 stamps on if we do not want them to get sent back....but I am still nervous they will be sent back.

They are all beautiful addressed and ready to go and I just don't want to mess this up!

Anyone run into this?

    How would you have to put two stamps of they're too small?!?!

    I'm sorry this happened to you hon; and no, I haven't experienced this yet. But I do send little cards all the time for random correspondence and they get to their destination no problem.

    If you put two stamps on them, I doubt they will send them back - I wouldn't worry too much!  How small is small?  I think my RSVP cards were maybe 3x4 and they were fine.

    We decided to just put 1 stamp on them. We called about 5 different Shopper's and the first one is the only one who said put two stamps on them.

    They are 3.5 x 5 so I think they should be okay! The post office lady freaked us out!

    Yeah, mine were that size if not smaller and they only needed one stamp - so not to worry at all!  Oh it's so exciting to get handfuls of tiny envelopes back - I was so excited to check the mail each day last year!

    Yep, mine are slightly smaller than the minimum (I think mine are called 4-bar, 3.5 x 4 7/8") and they went through the mail fine (although I was worried at first!)

    I wouldn't worry about it! My RSVPs were 4 Bars (3.625 x 5.125") and even though that  is technically a tinge smaller than Canada Post's smallest required size (which is 3.6 x 5.5"), I got all my RSVPs back.

    I'm glad you called around before taking that lady's word for it! No sense is spending double on postage.
