Grooms gifts

What's everyone's FI giving his guys for gifts. Were trying to figure out what to give our guys. I was thinking bbq gift sets, and maybe a flask. What do you think?

Although we have a lot of time to think about it...my FI found some metal pub signs that can be personalized for the guys. As a lot of his friends have man caves or a bar set up in their basement, it's perfect! You can personalize them to say "Chris's Sports Bar" and choose the picture, etc.

I like the BBQ set idea! I've also seen people give the groomsmen personalized sports gear too, a jersey for their favorite team, or tix to a Twins game.

H did knifes (with message and initials)from Things Remembered and a Beer Glass engraved with their names.

I like the BBQ idea, if they grill a lot you can get various sauces, spices, tools etc.

I'm soooo happy you posted this! :) I am looking forward to seeing what everyone has to say. Both FI and I are German and we found Beer Boots online and ordered them and had their names engraved on them... now what else to do is where we sit and wonder! :)

    Very good topic!

As of now, I think FI want's to get them knife's.  Not sure on the kind or anything, but that's the last idea I've heard.  He told me he was waiting for FBIL's wedding to see what they did, so they didn't copy each other.  (They did beer mugs with engraved initials).  So now I'm just waiting for him to get on it & decide!

I think the BBQ gift sets & some sauces would be a great idea!  = )

My fiance got the guys all different things to go with their personalities, some got personalized pub signs, some got nice knives or a bbq set, I think he even gave some different gadgets for their interest (ie-golf) or nice personlized valet/box type of thing

Hubby gave his guys poker sets in a big metal case, they played a few hands in the dressing room of the church before the wedding :)

I set Joe in charge of this so it was totally up to him what to get his guys.
He choose Nurf Guns - and not just any nurf gun, one that take batteries and has a rapid 20 dart continuous shot! That was him explaining them to me :). But they were a huge hit and all the guys loved them even though his guys ranged from 25 to 30 years old :).

I love the BBQ set idea!

The guys in our WP were all in their mid-30s and had been in lots of weddings, so most of them already had flasks and such. My husband procrastinated on his gifts and wound up forgoing anything personalized. He gave each guy a gift card to a store that suited their hobbies - some got Cabela's cards, some got golf store cards, etc. The guys all loved it.

DH got the guys travelling coffee mugs engraved with their names from Things Remembered!  He had initially planned on doing gifts more individualized... but he ran out of time.

We haven't purchased gifts yet, but we are also personalizing each gift to each person's interests. I would suggest you do the same unless you know for a fact that every single guy would like the same gift--it's not really much of a gift if you know the guy doesn't have much interest in what you're getting him.

DH got all the guys personalized/monogramed soft sided coolers.  They all thought it was a great idea - since they all already have a few beer glasses, mugs, money clips & flasks from each others weddings...

Custom pub signs and poker weights for our dudes.  All of them have man caves and like cards so it worked.

Haha!  i was at an outdoor wedding/reception last summer, and all of the groomsmen were given Nurf guns (although the don't sound nearly as awesome as these)!  To be honest, it was the hit of the party!

wittyschaffy and jennamarie10 - where did you get your pub signs? FI wants to do this but hasn't liked any of the ones I've suggested.
