Chicago couple wants to get married on the beach

Hi, all! Congrats on your upcoming wedding and thanks for any help you can offer. We're researching budget beach wedding in Key West, Naples, Marco Island or the Gulf Coast of Florida. We'd love to get married with our feet planted in the sand during the vows.
We have a small budget -- about $15k total for the entire day -- and are only set on one thing: being married on a beautiful beach.
Thank you for any help (and pictures) you can provide us. And congrats to you all again!!

You guys are the GREATEST!!!!! Wow, thank you!

Well, we definitely don't have a small wedding: I'd say about 100. We just want a nice beach to get married on and a place to dance inside. A beachfront hotel that won't break the bank sounds great, but I honestly can't find one.

Thank you so, so much for your help, ladies!!

try the sandbar or beachhouse on anna maria island if you don't mind an outdoor reception.  They are both really popular.

I'm getting married at the Grand Plaza Hotel on St Pete Beach. The ceremony is outside and the reception room that I'm usuing in floor to ceiling windows that shows off a gorgeous sunset. And it's WELL under $15,000

Try the Boca Grande Club in Boca Grande, FL.  The beach is stunning and the club house overlooks the Gulf.  You shouldn't have a problem getting in there for your budget.

There are several locations that suit your budget! If you are willing to get married on a public beach, Ft. Desoto Beach is beautiful.

I am getting married and having my reception at Tampa Bay Watch. You can bring in your own everything so that saves ALOT of money that hotel and banquet halls charge up on. It is on the water, but not the beach. Although thats what I wanted cause I'm not a sand fan.

Check out the Bilmar in St. Pete, my MIL told me it was very reasonable!!

Check out the Pink Shell on Fort Myers Beach. Nice resort with a nice ballroom overlooking the beach. They are pretty reasonable too!! I recommend just telling places your budget and what you are looking for and see if they are willing to work with you. You may be surprised! Good luck!

Hi just wanted to second the suggestion for the BeachHouse in Bradenton Beach.  That's where ours is in Nov 2011!  They can host the ceremony (on the sand) and the reception under one of their pavilions.  (We had the same budget and it's looking good.)   :)  Good Luck!  PM if you have any questions about the vendor.  Oh and Congrats!
