invitation problem--maybe?

Okay, so we are including the post wedding brunch with the invitations.
On the invitation for the brunch instead of putting the actual place the name of the restaurant-- I put where the restaurant is located which is mystic seaport, but include the address of the restaurant on the invitation. Could this be a potential problem or not a big deal?

Hmmm. I'd have to see it, but are you saying you have the address of the restuarant, but not the restaurant name?

Hum, do you have a wedding website? If so, definitely list the restaurant name on there.

If you have time/budget, I'd reprint the brunch cards. It'll be easier for guests to find the location if they know they're looking for a restaurant, since they can look for the signs wtih the name instead of just the address number.

I would encourage you to send separate invitaitons. Having too many events (ceremony, reception, brunch) on one invitation can be really confusing.

I agree with PP, I think if you have the ability to reprint, I'd add the name. If you don't, then I would add it to a wedding website or spread it by word of mouth (in lieu of a website).

Another idea instead of reprinting, would be to do some simple "directions" cards with the name of the restaurant and simple directions, and hand them out at the ceremony. that way you don't have to reorder all of your invitations.

I think spreading by word of mouth, and on your website will be ok. Of course it isn't ideal to exclude the name of the restaurant, but I don't think its the end of the world.

I like the idea of having it on direction cards. The website and work of mouth will help as well. Finding a place is easier when you have the name but I wouldn't freak out about it.
