Found another dress..

SHOTS OF ME ARE IN! Thank you to the awesome newly engaged woman at Olga's for being kind enough to take these and send them to me. (the back looks kind of funny, the sample was an 8 and I am like a 10 or 12 so we pulled it really tight to get the best idea of what it would look like and it's pulled a little bit too much in the back)









I went to Olga's today not expecting to find anything, but I fell head over heels for this dress. It's a tiny bit over my budget but I can't bring myself to care. It has a much more vintage feel to me than the alfred angelo one. That one was very modern which is like the opposite feel i'm going for. Did you guys go over budget on your dress? What do you think about this one as opposed to the other one?

    This one has a very old hollywood glam feel... Both dresses would look stunning on you. Good luck with your choice!!

    I'll be honest, I didn't really have a budget. And it's not because I'm rolling in dough. No one I have known has ever had a wedding, complete with big new dress and all. So my parents and I did not know what to expect. We figured we'd spend a couple thousand. I ended up coming in right at 1,000. Complete with crinoline slip, veil and all.. My dress was normally 1500 but it was on sale for 700 something.  :O)

    I think the this one is gorgeous! I love it and the beautiful strap, I prefer this over the first.

    I love this one! Is it a maggie? ....I love Olga's too...i went over my budget...it was 1000...i spent 1800 just on the dress. keep in mind if you are on a budget like me then you'll have to cut from somewhere else. just keep a look out for deals...i really wanted a cathedral length veil and was able to find one for 40.00 on ebay. good luck....you'll be beautiful no matter what!

    yeah it's a maggie. it's called desirae. i love it. i think i was super in love with the last one's price tag. I really feel like if i don't buy tihs dress i am going to wish i did for the rest of my life. this one is actually really reasonably priced at $830, but our wedding budget isn't huge. I think Julie really wants me to love my dress and i'm positive she can work with the budget so everything works out. She's a miracle worker anyway.

    a lady at the bridal shop was nice enough to take photos for me, but they are on her own camera so she will have to email them to me. as soon as i get them i'll post pics of this and the other one i was trying on which was casablanca 1996.

    I found my dress at Olga's and then went to CC's. look and See if Maggie is having a trunk show anytime soon in the area. you can get 10% off.
