If your not having a reception after your DW....

What are you going to do? I'm thinking FI and I and our 7 guests maybe will just all go out to eat together (possibly at the hotel. because I want to wear my dress stll but think I may feel weird just wearing it to some random restaurant on the island!) Any other thoughts? I know we aren't going to stay out late that night because the next morning we are going on a snorkeling adventure to St John and I want to be well rested for that!

    I'm not having a reception after my DW either. What we plan to do is (we're at an AI) is scope out our favorite spot at the resort and let every know that's where we're headed. My friend did this at her Vegas wedding and it was a blast. We were still in our wedding attire and it was so much fun! We went to a dueling piano bar at Harrah's. So we are going to mimick her style and just let the night take us where it wants to. She and her hubby we're done by 8 so it wasn't a long night out. 

    Plus, I think wear your dress where ever you end up! it'll be exciting and fun because the whole place will feed off the vibe of the newlyweds and their guests. Trust me! I've seen it!

    Since we're cruising, we're not having a reception as well, however, what we planned on doing (if the weather is good to us and we do get to have the ceremony on the beach) we invited all of our guests to a local bar/grill called Luau Larry's for a celebratory cocktail!  Our dinner is at 6 p.m., and our entire wedding party will be in our wedding attire for the entire night!

    We're not having a reception after our DW... insted we're hosting an Open House since we're moving to a new state before our DW and many people will want to come visit.  We were thinking of having our Open House a couple of months after our DW.
