Directions cards

I have a question about the direction cards.  My venue and my hotel both provide directions card.  We are doing a pocketfold (http://www.paperandmore.com/cards/solid/pocket-himalaya-black-a7-100lb-50q.html)

I thought I would have the RSVP card, and RSVP envelope, and a directions card (which would be larger and on the same color card stock that the invitation is on).  What do I do with the directions cards from the hotel and venue???

To get to the venue, you have to make a u-turn.  So I would rather use their directions.

Can I glue the directions cards on the cardstock?  I don't want the pocket to just have small inserts.

Re: Directions cards

  • I don't recommend gluing the direction cards on to cardstock- it will look cheesy.  I just copied the directions from the directions cards that my venue/hotel gave me and will be printing them on paper that matches the rest of the inserts in my pocketfold.  This will be the tallest insert in my pocketfold.

If you're not going to use the ones the hotel/venue gave you can either return them to the venue or hold on to them for reference.  Maybe you can include the venue direction cards in Welcome Bags (if you're doing them) at the hotel just so you can use them.

  • I agree that they would look cheesy.  I am picking up the directions cards from the venue today.  If they have a picture, I'll have to scan it to the computer and have FI figure it out and then print it onto card stock.

I like the idea of the OOT bags (we haven't decided if we're doing them or not)

    Thanks!
