I'm hoping it's okay for me to post this b/c i'm not making any profit off of it at all, but if it's not cool, lmk.
I was on a preggo board while pregnant with my oldest back in 2005. I met a lot of great girls who I'm still friends with. 3 of us were super close and ended up giving birth (all to boys) on the same day, just hours apart.
I had Brendan, Heather had Andrew and Erin had Caleb.
While Heather and Erin got preggo together again in 2007 while I was TTC. I ended up getting pregnant a few months aftrer them, so the latter half of our pregnancies were experienced together.
Heather had a girl, I had Lily, and Erin had Ayden.
Heather and I were done (For the moment) after those 2nd kids, but Erin went on to have Kaelyn, a little girl, in 2011. about 2 months after KGrace was born, their family experienced a horrible tragedy in the form of a drowning accident that took the life of their (then 3.75 year old) son, Ayden.
If you ever see pics of me (on facebook, instagram, etc) you'll notice that I ALWAYS wear an orange bracelet. That's my ayden bracelet.
Well, Erin and her awesome husband Darryl created a charity out of their tragedy called Ayden's Foundation of Hope. They take donations and put together "Packages of Hope" for other grieving families in the form of books on losing a child for the parents, gifts for their siblings, and age-appropriate books for the kids about losing their brother or sister.
Today they are doing a fundraiser that I made a bunch of items for. 100% of the selling price goes to their charity. Check out their FB page here:
