My fiance and I really love breakfast food. (I think most people can agree) So our thought was to serve breakfast at our nighttime wedding to make it more personal. My mom did not really go for that idea. Please let me know your thoughts and if you think it would be ok.

I think it depends on the overall tone of your wedding. If it's formal and/or traditional, I think it might come across as odd. But it really depends on how formal/traditional the rest of your wedding is too. If it's small and informal, you can pull almost anything off.
[QUOTE]My venue offers breakfast-y food in place of the desserts at the night. If you wanted to do like waffles and ice cream or a crepe bar, I think that would be a nice way to incorporate your breakfast food at the wedding.

Ditto. That's the only way I'd be happy with breakfast food at an evening reception. Most breakfast foods are too high fat/salt/sugar for me personally (not that I'd be attending the wedding). <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-tongue-out.gif" border="0" alt="Tongue out" title="Tongue out" />
