  What did it state in your contract as far as length of time?
  
  We had all of ours at the beginning of Sept. for a late July wedding. Summers are especially busy for photographers and I have heard of friends waiting 3-4 months to get photos back and it was normal for that particular photographer. I would first check your contract. If there was no length of time listed, I would give her a few more weeks and then check back.
  
  Also, does she have a website/FB page where she'll post the albums online when they're done? If so, I would see how far along she is. If someone who married 3 weeks before you just NOW got their album posted, for instance, you can kind of gauge when yours might be done. If someone who married AFTER you already has theirs, then I would definitely ask about it.

  Thanks, those are good points! I need to check the contract. It's difficult to tell from the website because she posts the preview pictures on her blog but I don't think she has entire weddings posted... but there are a couple previews posted after mine.

  We were told 6-8 weeks. It took about 10.

  For us 2 months- and our contract said 90 days so I was thankful it was earlier.

  Wedding was April 21st, photographer said she would send the pictures the first week of June, and they came in mid-July.  (She just sends you the CD with the edited pictures).  I would have inquired before then but I had seen her post two of the pictures on her Facebook so I didn't think she had forgotten and I decided to give her a little longer...and just before I was going to finally touch base with her, she sent me an e-mail that the pictures were on their way.

  Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.

  It took us about 5 weeks to get ours which I thought was very reasonable

  We were told 4-6 weeks and we got them a little over 7 weeks later. Our engagement photos took 9 weeks--that was torture!

  We got married August 8 and are expecting ours to be ready by September so only about three weeks. We don't have any albums or prints to wait for so maybe that makes it quicker? Either way, if it winds up taking until mid-September I'll still be fine with that!
