I'm looking for venue recommendations for places in New Orleans. Something similar to the Audubon Tea Room (they're booked on my date). I'm looking at the NOMA but would like to consider a few other places. Suggestions?

    You might want to check out the New Orleans Board of Trade or Gallier Hall.  There are also some lovely ballrooms at hotels in the French Quarter.

    Our guest list is between 200-250 people. I'm looking for a place with personality, that has an outdoor ceremony space in the vicinity, and within New Orleans proper.

    Latrobe's is also a good option.  200-250 people is tight in the French Quarter, because of space.  I also saw a beautiful wedding recently at the Marigny Opera House, but you would have to bring everything in.

    City Park also has some lovely rental spaces that are simliar to the Tea Room. I really wanted to have my reception (in the Parkview Terrace) there but Christmas in the Oaks would make it just too much of a hassle.

    anyone know a reception venue for about 100 people need to stay in budget for food of no more than 2-3000

    also look at the louisiana state museum web page i believe the cabildo, exchange and another building are on there.
