My fiance and I would like to elope, just the two of us. Do we have to have a witness or can it just be him, me, and the officiant? And if we do need a witness, how many of them and do they have to know us?
Also, where is it okay to have an elopement? Do we have to be at a courthouse or could we get married, say, in our backyard or on the beach?
